Chairman, Bassa Progressive Youths Network, Suleiman Mustapha Sheria has described the appointment of Hon Imam Saleh as Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Sanitation and Emergency Management as timely and well deserved.
Suleiman Sheria who made this known during a chat with this reporter in Lokoja, said the governor by this appointment has reiterated that his government was for all Kogites.
According to him, the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration of Governor Yahaya Bello is untribalistic and has ensures that every group in the state no matter her population is given sense of belonging.
He appreciated the Governor Bello, his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharm Abdulkarim Asuku as well as other stakeholders in Bassa APC for making the appointment a possibility.
Sheria also congratulated the new Special Adviser, Hon Imam Saleh and assured Kogians that the appointee would put his wealth of experience to bear on the job.
He said: “Imam Saleh has the capability, experience and good will to excel in his new appointment as a foundation member of APC in Bassa Local Government Area.”
He further pledged that Governor Bello would continue to enjoy the groundswell of support and solidarity he has been enjoying from the Egbira speaking Mozum people.
