Barely eleven months to the 2019 general elections, the time is ripe to present the game-changer in Igalamela-Odolu state constituency, Hon. Cosmas Atabor.
Atabor was the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the highly contentious 2015 House of Assembly election. He gave a good fight against the ‘system’ and won the hearts of electorates across the constituency.
Since the ill-fated 2015 elections, Cosmas Atabor has proven to all and sundry that he is he can be trusted with our mandate. His principled disposition and resolute commitment to the welfare and well-being of his people stands him out. He has proven that he is not a ‘hungry political prostitute’ that goes after filthy lucre regardless of how is people fared. Electorates will reward him for been reliable, steadfast and principled come 2019.
It will be difficult for the promoters of status quo to upstage Cosmas Atabor in 2019. All indices show that he is the man to beat in the next assembly polls.
Being a lawyer, lawmaking as a member of House of Assembly makes him a perfect fit.
He has been reaching out to opinion leaders, influential groups and other stakeholders ahead of 2019 elections. A grassroot mobilizer, he is sure to get maximum support regardless of the party platform he chooses to contest on.
He is at home with his peoples’ needs and wants. He is a well-known brand among his people. He understands their problems and capable of solving them. The good people of Igalamela-Odolu are tired of negative representation and fair weather politicians who only come home whenever elections are near to contest for elective positions and disappear thereafter.
As we march towards the much coveted 2019 general elections, we will continue to sensitize the electorates on the need to elect Cosmas Atabor as member representing Igalamela-Odolu in Kogi State House of Assembly
