In recent times, there has been an increment in violence across the local government level in Igala land and even the state in general.

All kinds of violence plagues many communities in Igala nation, consequent upon a clash which emanated from different association’s leadership tussles, land dispute, rival confraternity group and other social vices, leaving some people wallowing in darkness and despair. The solution is the collective responsibilities of entire community’s Inhabitants. Each one of us, regardless of age, condition, class, culture or religious affiliation must be part of the solution.

Not too long ago, one of the Igala son called Ambassador Anthony Ogar has singlehandedly embarked on an aggressive ‘Peace Advocacy’, as other may say, it is a very good time and opportunity for everyone of us to reflect on the issue with seriousness, as it regards to life and plan on how and what to do on our individual part to create a peaceful community, nation and the world at large, as such responsibility shouldn’t be left in the hands of government alone.

To accomplish this task successfully, we must spend time each day in prayer and contemplation and invite God to direct our path, show us how to remove the obstacles, and allow Divine Light to replace the darkness.

We must equally remember that wars begin in the minds and hearts of people. It is in the same place that the defense of peace must be constructed. The peace we build must be built on a secure foundation, not just on political and economic arrangements, but upon an intellectual and moral solidarity with all of mankind.

God bless Ambassador Anthony Ogar for the initiative

God Bless Igala Nation

God Bless Kogi state and every other committed ones in this struggle.
