The Caretaker Chairman of Idah local government, Hon Amade Egwuda Ochijenu has inaugurated council caretaker committee.
Inaugurating the committee at Idah, Hon Ochijenu urged the secretary to the local government and supervisors to be united and serve the the people well.
The Chairman appealed to the people of Idah local government to join hands with him to reposition the local government for good service delivery,
He reminded the appointees to be servant of the people and ready to serve.
The swearing in ceremony which was attended by many people of Idah local government saw him administer the oath of office and oath of allegiance on secretary and supervisors as well.
In his speech, Hon. Ochijenu thanked the Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Usman Ododo and his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for appointing him as caretaker Chairman of Idah local government.
He used the opportunity to commend and congratulate all stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), party executive, party members and supporters. He charged them to shun party differences and work as a team to make Kogi state better.
He called in the people of Idah local government to support and cooperate with the present administration so as to enjoy the benefit of the dividends of democracy.
