Ibaji People Grateful to Gov Bello for Appointing Apeh as Commissioner

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi East senatorial district, Engr. John Ibrahim Ocheje has expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for appointing a worthy son of Ibaji, Hon David Apeh as Commissioner.

Reacting to Apeh’s appointment on Tuesday, Engr Ibrahim noted that the announcement of commissioner nominees by Governor Bello shortly after taking the oath of office is a remarkable demonstration of his readiness to pilot the affairs of state without delays.

From the list of 18 cabinet members announced in a State with 21 Local Government Areas, Hon. David Apeh from Ibaji LGA was appointed as the Commissioner and has been assigned the Ministry of Agriculture.

While congratulating Hon. David Apeh, Engr John Ibrahim described the love the administration of Governor Bello and his deputy Chief Edward Onoja have shown Ibaji people as unprecedented.

He reassured the Bello-Onoja led second term administration of the full support of the Ibaji people.

The APC Chairman in Ibaji LGA, Mr. ThankGod Omale has also congratulated Governor Bello and Onoja on their inauguration for a second term in office.

He noted that the people of Ibaji would continue to pledge their supports for the success of the current administration.

On his part, the House of Assembly member representing the Local Government Area, Hon. John Abah, congratulated Hon. David Apeh and urged the good people of Ibaji to continue in their unalloyed support to Bello-led administration.

In the meantime, Governor Yahaya Bello has been inaugurated on Monday for the second term in an election which defeated the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party Engr. Musa Wada in a landslide victory.

Ibaji Local Government Area happened to be one of the few Local Government Areas that Governor Bello won in Kogi East.

Governor Yahaya Bello shortly after his second term victory dissolved his cabinet members and instructed all his political appointees to submit their stewardship reports accompanied with the results of their polling units in the election.
