Ibaji-born Dr Danjo Eguche Appointed Ambassador-In-Situ

An illustrious Ibaji son, Dr Danjo Eguche has been appointed ambassador-in-situ by President Muhammadu Buhari in recognition of his meritorious service to Nigeria.

Ambassador Danjo Eguche had a distinguished and eventful career in both both Kwara and Benue states as a high profile civil servant.

He was a vibrant member, Benue State House of Assembly where he represented Ibaji constituency in 1983.

As academic and diplomat. Dr. Eguche joined the foreign service of Nigeria where he offered several decades of selfless, patriotic and unblemished service to the nation.

Reacting to his appointment, the Ibaji Progressive Youth Foundation (IPYF) described Dr Eguche’s appointment as “rare and a model for upcoming Ibaji service providers.”

In a statement digned ny the President, Kelvin Apeh, the group congratulated him on the national recognition.

“Even though indigenous people of Ibaji doesn’t used their good position and influence to develop Ibaji land, we pray, you remember home this time around.”
