My principal interest of joining his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello  was to break the monopoly of power in one generation and families to allow our own generation to have access to power in the interest of the common people of  Kogi state.

The religious and tribal bigotry which has always been a major division among the people of Kogi state right from inception has been broken and I therefore wish to use this medium to congratulate myself, the executive governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the deputy governor Chief Edward David Onoja and all the commissioner designates while waiting on God to use me again for another assignment in the interest of the common man.

I also want to inform and appreciate every positive and negative concern that I have never lobbied for the position of a commissioner as my aim of joining governor Bello has been achieved as witnessed by all yesterday at the Lugard House Lokoja, Kogi state.

You are all aware that I have contested for national assembly positions twice and also the gubernatorial aspirant of our great party in the November 16th Kogi state guber election. As a son of the prophets and a believer of the gospel and according to the book of Ecclesiastical chapter 3  which says that there is time for everything under the sun; a time to sow and a time to reap, therefore, I have no doubt that the time for me to carry out the national assignment on behalf of  the good people of Kogi state as I have always desired right from my days of student unionism where I was the national president of the national association of polytechnic students of Nigeria.

I wish to conclude that considering my wealth of political experience and leadership, I can only desire to serve the interest of the good people of Kogi state through national assignment and not the commissionership as envisaged by majority of both my political followers and enemies of our time who have rolled out their drums of blackmail and cheap propaganda.

Long Live Governor Yahaya Bello. Long Live Chief Edward David Onoja (CIK). Long Live Kogi State

– High Chief Amade Edime
Former Senatorial Candidate and Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC).
