Kogi State Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba has denied being enmeshed in land dispute with Alhaji Danladi Mohammed.
In a press release by his Chief Press Secretary, Sylvester Akor, Achuba urged the public to disregard reports suggesting that his battling with a claimant over a disputed property in GRA, Lokoja.
He adviced the claimant of the said property to approach appropriate channels, or use the legal means rather than engaging the social media in publications that are aimed at giving the Deputy Governor a bad name.
However, Danladi, the claimant to the 4-bedroom apartment along Salihu Ibrahim road, GRA, Lokoja, said he has reported the lingering issue to the Police.
He alleged that he is the actual owner of the said property that was sold to Achuba through fraudulent means. He told Kogireports that he had since reported the dispute to Police for investigation while considering other legal options.
