The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has assured that all it candidates for the State House of Assembly election would emerge victorious because the the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state has inflicted wickedness, hunger, pain on the people.
The PDP, in a statement signed by Bode Ogunmola, State Publicity Secretary of the party, described the APC led administration as one that has not endeared itself to the people, said the APC is certainly going to fail in the state.
The PDP scribe stated that the APC should not be dreaming of victory in the forthcoming state assembly election, describing the non payment of salaries and pension, lack of visible development in the last three years as enough reason why the APC will lose gallantly.
Ogunmola commended the people for their gallantry in the last Saturday’s election. He described Kogi people as icon of democratic struggle, who amidst the rigging, allocation of results, violence and snatching of ballot boxes by the APC, showed resolute fighting spirit and doggedness.
He noted that the PDP is parading acceptable politicians with grassroots appeal.
He added that the party has designed a well articulated blueprint that will lead to lawmaking to empower women, the youths and create employment.
He appealed to the people across the state to vote PDP all the way as members of the Kogi State House of Assembly.
The party called on the people of the state to turnout enmass, vote and protect their votes, during the Saturday’s state house of assembly election, disclosing that a vote for PDP candidates would enable them make laws that would improve on the welfare of the people.
