Hope Edu Program Enters Day 2: A Glimpse Into the Future of Education in Kogi State

The Kogi State Education Digital Platform Training (Hope Edu Program) entered its second day with a resounding commitment from the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones FCIB, to elevate the standard of education in the state.

He reiterated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s unwavering dedication to advancing the education sector.

With a focus on technical capacity building, the second day of the training emphasised on hands-on operations, book tracking, and data management. The EMIS and ICT officers from across the 21 LGAs were acknowledged as the major pilots of the program, entrusted with the crucial task of driving the implementation of the digital platform in schools throughout the state.

Addressing the participants, the Commissioner commended their dedication and reminded them of the pivotal role they play in the success of the Hope Edu Program. He urged the ICT and EMIS officers to remain committed and diligent in their duties as they undergo training to enhance their skills and knowledge in utilizing the digital platform effectively.

Participants actively engaged in practical sessions aimed at equipping them with the necessary expertise to navigate the technical aspects of the digital platform. They delved into book tracking and data management, learning how to troubleshoot common issues that may arise during the implementation phase.

The training program is set to culminate with a closing ceremony today, where the participants will showcase the knowledge and skills they have acquired. The enthusiasm and eagerness displayed by the participants reflect a shared vision of revolutionizing the education sector in Kogi State through the integration of digital technology.
