The All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo), has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the management and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, particularly the National Association of Ebira Students (NAES), over the sad demise of their dear colleague, Onyi Ohinoyi Salihu Maryam.
Hon. Aliyu described the incident as shocking and devastating to the entire Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, and Ebiraland. He added that losing such a potential daughter, who was a future leader, is a heavy burden to bear, and prayed for comfort for the bereaved.

He encouraged all Ebira students across the state to pray more intensely and work hard on their studies. He reminded them that achieving academic excellence is the primary goal of being in school and urged them to always strive for outstanding results.
The incoming lawmaker said, ‘Everything happens by the will of God.’ He added, ‘We should draw closer to God because every soul shall taste death.
He prayed to Allah to forgive the deceased for her imperfections, repose her soul eternally in Paradise, and grant her family and colleagues the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
