Hon. Matthew Ochada Celebrates Kogi Deputy Governor on Birthday, Describes Him as Pillar of Loyalty

A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Hon. Matthew Ochada (HMO), has extended warm felicitations to the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday, Hon. Ochada described the Deputy Governor as a “quintessential leader” whose dedication to the development of the Confluence State remains unparalleled. He noted that Comrade Salifu’s journey from a seasoned labour leader to the second-highest office in the state is a testament to his humility, loyalty and steadfast commitment to public service.

“Your Excellency, your life has been a blueprint of selfless service to the people. Your unwavering loyalty to the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and your commitment to the progress of Kogi State continue to inspire us all,” he said.

Hon. Ochada further highlighted the seamless working relationship between Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, stating that the synergy between both leaders has paved the way for remarkable developmental strides across the state’s three senatorial districts within a short period.

He emphasized that Comrade Salifu, through his wealth of experience in grassroots mobilization and administrative expertise, has continued to serve as a bridge-builder, ensuring that the policies and programmes of the APC-led government positively impact ordinary citizens across the state.

“As you add another year to your fruitful life, we celebrate the grace of God upon you. You have remained a pillar of support, not only to the Executive Governor, but also to the entire APC family in Kogi State. Your calm disposition and strategic approach to governance are qualities that have endeared you to many,” Ochada added.

The APC chieftain concluded by praying for divine health, long life and greater wisdom for the Deputy Governor as he continues to serve the state and humanity.

“It is our prayer that the Almighty God grants you the strength and grace to witness many more years of impactful and selfless service,” the statement concluded.
