Member, House of Representatives representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency, Hon. Yusuf Ahmed Tijani Damisa has condemned the brutal assassination of Mr. Yusuf Adabenege, the custodian of Aneku Sementi Anevere.
In his condolences message to the leader of Ehebe, the traditional chiefs, Okovi and Agada, Rep Tijani Damisa said, “As a people, we are known to be our brothers’ keeper. Terror has never been in our character. Therefore, we must all rise to defeat this minority tribe of terrorism. We must rise for the sanctity of every life in Ebiraland. We are in desperate times, and desperate times demand desperate actions. If we don’t act now, we will all be very sorry tomorrow.
“There can never be any justification for this act of mindless brutality. Therefore, I condemn it in totality. Whatever message the killers set out to send across has been drowned out by the cries for justice by the blood of this innocent martyr, whose brand of wisdom will surely be missed.”
He expressed sincere condolences to the families of the deceased for the immeasurable loss.
