The member representing Lokoja /Kogi federal constituency and the deputy leader of the House of Representatives, Honourable (Arc) Buba Jibril has consoled the Ebira Nation and indeed entire Kogites over the death of Senator Salihu Ohize.
In a statement from his constituency office in Lokoja, Hon. Buba described the news of death of Senator Ohize as one which came as a rude shock.
“It is more painful to lose Senator Ohize at this time when Kogi state needs his contribution to take the state out of its present deplorable state but we seek consolation in the fact that Allah giveth and taketh when he pleases”
Senator Ohize will be greatly missed by all. I urge the family members of the late Senator Ohize and the Ebira Nation to seek Solace in the fact that their son lived a fulfilled life. Hon. Buba prayed that Almighty Allah will grant his soul Al-janna Firdaus.
Senator Ohize was a former chairman of Okene Local government and Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial district in the 6th assembly.
