Hon. Bank-Andrew Omonisaye, Local Government Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, has appealed to all eligible citizens of Okekoko Ward, Kabba-Bunu LGA, and across the state to actively take part in the ongoing voter registration exercise organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Hon. Omonisaye, in a statement on Sunday, stressed that voter registration is the first step in building credible elections and ensuring accountable governance. He particularly called on the youth, women, and first-time voters not to miss the opportunity to secure their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).

“Our vote is our voice, and our PVC is the instrument that makes it count,” Hon. Omonisaye said. “I urge everyone to visit the designated INEC registration centers and complete their registration without delay. Together, we can strengthen democracy and ensure our voices are heard.”

“The registration exercise is currently ongoing at INEC offices and approved centers across all wards and local government areas. Citizens are reminded that the process is free of charge, and early participation is strongly encouraged to avoid the last-minute rush.”
