The member representing Adavi constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Muktar Bello Adoke has expressed sadness over the demise of an elder statesman, Alhaji Idris King Isiaka whom he said has contributed immensely to the development of contemporary politics in Ebiraland.
Adoke, in s statement, stated the deceased was one of the most accommodating, generous and refined politicians the Ebiraland has produced.
“Politics will never be the same without the jocular banter of the deceased.
“Kogi central senatorial District, and indeed the kogi state at large, will miss the wise counselling of Alhaji Idris Isiaka (King)
“For Alhaji Idris Isiaka (king), politics was never a do or die affair, but a vehicle for service to the people,’’ the statement quoted Hon Muktar Adoke saying.
“On behalf of the good people of Adavi Constituency, I condole with the Governor of Kogi state Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello and the immediate family of the deceased.
“May Allah forgive all his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss,’’ the statement read.
