I was at home a forthnight ago and took my time to interview quite a lot of people about the activities of our elected officials and some of the feedbacks I got were quite commendable. This is good news for those of us who desire a nation built on prosperity and egalitarianism.
There is this growing awareness among our elected officials that they need to work, this is a classic departure from what was obtainable in the recent past where people think that political office creates a pathway to the common bag containing our money and engage in cruel and crooked acquisition as if they would live for thousands of years on our precarious planet earth.
According to the people I spoke with, there are not less than thirty five people in various higher institutions across Nigeria under the sponsorship of Hon Abdulraheem Danga, this is quite commendable and worth putting in the public domain with a view to encouraging him to do more.
One sweet thing about giving back to your community is that such act of kindness connects you to people and ideas that will positively impact your perspective for the rest of your life.
