Kogi Patriotic Group (KPG) has congratulated the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for November election, Engineer Musa Wada and his running mate, Chief Sam Aro over their emergence.
The group, in statement signed by Mohammed Ahmodu, said the duo will transform Kogi state.
Ahmodu noted that the combination of Wada and Aro is the best thing that will happen to the people of the state after their victory in November.
He urged the people of the state to outgrow fear and other political threats to lives of innocent citizens.
He insisted that the PDP duo will install good governance and incorruptible leadership that will return the state to the path of progress and development.
Ahmodu enjoined the people to embrace the candidature of Engineer Musa Wada and Sam Aro, as their track records of achievements, as a public officer and manager private conglomerates, will bring a lot of positive difference to governance in the state.
He described the current situation in the state as pathetic and urged the electorate from Central, West and Eastern senatorial districts to rally round the PDP candidate, so as to open a new chapter of good leadership in the state.
He said any attempt to return governor Yahaya Bello in November election will not only mean another four years of suffering and smiling both for public workers and pensioners, but will give way for another 8 years of crude and inexperienced leadership span for 16 years.
“Bello’s intention is to spend 8 years and handover to Edward Onoja, for another 8 years,” he said.
