Group Passes Vote of Confidence on Ohere

A socio-political organization, the Kogi Central Political Liberation (KCPL), has passed a vote of confidence on the Special Adviser to the Governor, Minister for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Kogi State, Dr. Abubakar Ohere over the recent political inimical in the state.
The organization reiterated its unflinching loyalty to Dr. Ohere at a “time when some slanderers of the same government are said to be envious of Ohere’s leadership style.” In a statement by the President, Prince Suleiman Adinoyi through his Secretary, Kekere Daniel Elijah, in Kogi Central on Friday, the entire members of the organization noted the contribution, commitment, dedication and faithfulness of Dr. Ohere to Governor Yahaya Bello and to the development of Kogi State at large.
The group reveals that Dr. Ohere has been up and doing. “he has empowered women in Kogi Central with a reasonable seed capitals for Small scale businesses, empowerment of 200 Youths with poultry birds with and supporting capital of 20,000 each, erection of new Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs building fully equipped with ICT for Local Govt and Chieftaincy functions , Scholarships for undergraduate and Postgraduate students across the three Senatorial districts, scholarships for the less privileged, attention to the entertainment industries, fixing kogi Youths into various positions for their well-being, committed to solving salary issues by taking situation reports to his’ Excellency and preferring solutions, plus many more.
The Policy and Chief Strategist and the Director General Protocol, King Chatta and Prince Ohindase Abdulrahim however noted that, Engr Abubakar Ohere remain the only outstanding performing appointee, they urge others to emulate him rather than backbiting as doing so may not help Governor Bello, neither will it usher in an tangible development.
The grassroots Coordinators comprising the Five LGAs in Kogi Central, Mr. Musa Ado Ibrahim (Adavi), Mr. Adeiza Silas (Okene), Mr. Shaibu Yusuf (Ajaokuta), Mr. Okahgyne Ozovehe (Okehi) and Chief Shikiru Lawal (Ogori/Magongo) and other important personalities, Prof Lawal James, Mr. Idris Ihima and Prince Attah Muhammad whilst reacting, said situation reports at the grassroots have it that Hon. Ohere is Governor Yahaya Bello’s Backbone towards success. They said, if there’s any reasons why some people would still be loyal to new direction, it is because the message of Governor Yahaya Bello is reaching them through Hon. Ohere, and they have always vowed to key behind Ohere in returning Governor Yahaya Bello Come 2019.
They warn rumours peddlers, slanderers and backbiters to shelve their envious acts and be supportive to the government of New Direction for better and effective delivery.
The socio-political organization expressed its unalloyed support for the governor, urging all appointees, and members not to be divided at “this time in the life of our government.”
The group further said: “This is not the time to be raising unnecessary political dust in the polity. We are a hundred percent with our leader, Governor Yahaya Bello and his political messenger, our mentor, Dr. Abubakar Ohere in all his activities now and beyond 2019.”
Also, the group has backed Engr. Ohere urging the people of Kogi Central and the state at large to discredit those it described as “enemies of progress.” The groups explained that the Yahaya Bello administration will serve the state tremendously without any doubt about its qualitative and effective leadership.
