Group Lauds Leke Abejide’s Positive Impact in Ponyan Community

Member representing Yagba federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Leke Abejide, as been applauded for his sterling representation and contributions to the progress of Yagba land.

In a letter of appreciation, the Ponyan Development Association (PDA) said Abejide stood shoulder high when compared to his predecessors.

The letter signed by Fabola Moses, the National President of PDA, expressed satisfaction with the lawmaker’s representation in the national assembly.

PDA stated that over four hundred and fifty sons and daughters of Ponyan community had benefitted from Abejide’s payments of West African Examination Council (WAEC) fees.

They thanked the federal lawmaker for donating and installing 35 solar powered street lights in Ponyan, as well as rehabilitation of Oke-Oyi road, in which the community was a beneficiary.

They also expressed gratitude to Abejide for facilitating employment of Ponyan indigenes in Nigeria Customs Service and Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC).

PDA expressed the community’s satisfaction with Abejide’s performance and passed a vote of confidence on the lawmaker.
