Grand Reception as Commodore Folusho Daniel Joins APC Officially in Mopamuro July 5

All roads lead to Ward 06, Mopamuro, as residents and political stakeholders prepare to host a grand reception in honour of Navy Commodore Michael Folusho Daniel (Rtd), who is officially joining the All Progressives Congress (APC) family.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the residence of the retired naval officer in Orokere-Amuro, Mopamuro Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Community members, political leaders, youth groups, and well-wishers are expected to attend in celebration of a leader widely respected for his integrity, service, and deep connection to his people.

Leading the organizing team is Hon. Dennis Komolafe, who described Commodore Daniel as “a figure of unwavering integrity and a man deeply rooted in the love of his people, with whom I have had the privilege of working closely.”

The Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government, Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny commended Commodore Daniel and other defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for joining the All Progressive Congress.

In a statement signed by Olowu Juwon, the Senior Special Assistant to Mopamuro LG Chairman on Media and Publicity, the Council Chairman decision of Commodore Daniel, a former House of Assembly member; PDP LG Chairman, Bola Omoniwa, and other notable members as historic, saying that it is a new dawn for Mopamuro and Kogi politics.

Ademola Bello applauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for putting in all efforts to bring these notable personalities to APC.

Mopamuro Council Boss charged members of the APC to welcome the defectors with open arms in the spirit of camaraderie, just as he said the move will strengthen the party.
