Govt Appointees Applauds Barr Amina Bello’s Dedication to Unity, Development of Eika District

Government appointees from Eika District of Okehi local government area of Kogi State has expressed gratitude to Hajiya Amina Bello, wife of the immediate past governor of the state, for the profound impact of her guidance and commitment to the development of the district.

The Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Fatima Momoh, along with the recently appointed Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Hon. Mouktar Atimah, during a visit to Hajiya Amina’s residence in Abuja both shared their appreciation for her unwavering advocacy for peace and unity, and for the numerous projects influenced to the area.

The Commissioner, who spoke passionately about Hajiya Amina Bello’s influence, highlighted her vision and dedication to helping the current administration in fostering capable leadership for the overall development of the state.

On his part, the SEMA Executive Secretary, Hon. Atimah expressed profound gratitude for her mentorship and guidance, emphasizing the transformative effect it had on the political and infrastructural advancement of Eika district and Okehi local government area.

The appointees who were lead on the visit by an APC political chieftain from Eika, Hon. Onsachi Ahmed (Diet), were also accompanied by the Secretary of Okehi Local Government Area, Hon. Mathew James Omeiza who is also from Eika district, and others.

They pledged their total commitment to the consolidation agenda of the Governor Usman Ododo’s administration, and promised not to disappoint the confidence reposed in them.

In her response, the wife of the immediate past governor, Hajiya Amina Bello expressed humility and pride in witnessing the positive impact of her advocacy and support. She reiterated her steadfast commitment to supporting the government of Kogi State under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to succeed, emphasizing the importance of meritocracy and inclusivity in the drive to a more prosperous Kogi State.

She appreciated the appointees and pledged her continuous support for the people Eika. She charged them to continue with the existing unity among the people which according to her “is the only way the community can move forward”.

She called on all stakeholders to give maximum support to the government of Ododo at all times and continue praying for Yahaya Bello for the good foundation he laid.
