Governor Yahaya Bello Mourns Lokoja LG Chairman’s Demise

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has expressed profound shock over the sudden passing of the Chairman, Lokoja local government, Hon Mohammed DanAsabe Mohammed.

The council boss died on Thursday night.

Characterizing the late council chairman as a hardworking, dedicated, and compassionate young man, who was a friend to all, Bello lamented that DanAsabe’s demise was a monumental tragedy, leaving deep sorrow in the hearts of everyone.

Governor Bello, who personally attended the funeral rites of the late Lokoja Local Government chairman, noted that his loss was tragically irreparable. He urged the family, the people, and the government of Lokoja Local Government to accept this unfortunate incident as the will of Allah.

“I am deeply shocked and devastated at the news of Mohammed DanAsabe. His untimely passing is heartbreaking and painful. I have lost a reliable associate, a great confidante, and an administrator who toiled tirelessly for the betterment of his people. This loss is truly irreparable and painful,” the governor expressed.

Highlighting the exemplary life of Mohammed DanAsabe, Governor Bello eulogized his unique qualities of tolerance, friendliness, and passion for the well-being of his people.

He prayed to the Almighty to grant the soul of DanAsabe eternal rest, while urging his family, friends, and the management and staff of Lokoja Local Government to find the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
