It was yet another busy but historic day at the government house on Friday when the Governor of Kogi State, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo received the entire Benue community in Kogi State on a courtesy visit to government house.
The visit facilitated by the Chairman, Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi comprises of Tiv, Idoma and Igede tribes centered on strengthening bond of relationship between government and the people of Benue in Kogi State, create synergy that can promote Agriculture and Commerce as the people’s mainstay..
The Governor who was very elated to receive the delegation promise to deepen their involvement in governance since they represent a sizable number in the state and occupy a cardinal place in food security in the state.

The Tor Tiv Kogi State, Chief Chinongo Vor Moses thanked the Governor for the audience, development of their community in Kogi State and his open door policy while assisting the Governor of the support of Tiv community in Kogi for his administration.
On his part, the President of Idoma Community, Chief Joefrank Olofu eulogized the Governor for his humility, love for the non indigenes and also promised the support and loyalty of his people to the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The leader of the Igede Community, Barr Otowo Gabriel praised the Governor for his many developmental strides, saying his performance has earned him a place of pride among Benue people in Kogi State
