Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi state has announced the appointment of Dr Folashade Arike Ayoade as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Ayoade served immediate past governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, as SSG for eight years.
Ododo made the announcement after his inaugural speech after being sworn-in as the 5th Governor of Kogi state in Lokoja on Saturday.
He also named 16 commissioner nominees to be screened by the State House of Assembly as members of his cabinet.
“I will today be presenting the names of the following nominees to the Kogi state house of assembly for screening and confirmation as members of the Kogi state executive council,” he said.
Many of the nominees were those who served as commissioners in the administration of Bello.

Governor Ododo also announced the appointment of other aides.
