Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has urged participants of this year’s Hajj pilgrimage exercise from Kogi State to be of good conduct as such would speak positively of the State to the world outside.

The Governor gave this charge on Sunday while addressing the intending pilgrims at the Hajj Camp in Abuja.

Governor Bello urged the pilgrims to use the exercise to seek the face of Almighty God on the State’s behalf.

He mentioned that as the State was going into the electioneering season, pilgrims to the holy land should pray for the successful and peaceful conduct before, during and after the period in the state.

Earlier, the 2019 Amir Hajj, Alhaji Idris Babango commended the governor for his constant support to pilgrim exercise in the state and assured the governor that Kogi pilgrims will maintain their good conduct in the Holy Land.

A total of 464 pilgrims from Kogi State will be airlifted to Saudi Arabia on Monday, July 15.
