Gov Ododo’s Aide, Abdulrasheed Adabara, Empower Individuals to Boost MSMEs in Otutu Ward, Okene LGA

In a bid to stimulate economic growth and development in Otutu Ward, Okene LGA, Hon. Abdulrasheed Adabara, Special Adviser to the Governor on Intergovernmental Affairs, has empowered his constituents with a cash grant to boost Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the area.

The empowerment program, tagged “Grassroots EMPOWERMENT cum Boosting of small and medium businesses in Otutu Ward,” aims to unlock the potential of local businesses by providing the necessary support and resources to thrive.

The event, which took place on August 10, 2024, was attended by a large gathering of beneficiaries, community leaders, and stakeholders.

This initiative aligns with Governor Ododo Ahmed Usman’s visionary agenda, which seeks to advance economic opportunities, create sustainable livelihoods, and foster inclusive growth within Kogi State.

Hon. Adabara’s address emphasized the importance of MSMEs in driving innovation and job creation, stressing that supporting local entrepreneurs can create a vibrant, prosperous, and inclusive economy.

He stressed the importance of collective support for continued progress and prosperity in Kogi State, urging beneficiaries to recognize and appreciate Governor Ododo’s tireless efforts in championing their cause.

The State Party Chairman, represented by the Kogi Central APC Zonal Chairman, Comr. Animoku Mauzu Salihu expressed joy over Hon. Abdulrasheed’s initiative. He stressed that the benefactor has shown true leadership and can lead at a higher level without disappointing the party or the people.

The Ohi of Okene, HRH Alh. Isah Mamman, praised Hon. Abdulrasheed Adabara for his humanitarian approach.

“I am not surprised by what Hon. Adabara is doing today. His father was an entrepreneur, and he has inherited the same spirit. He understands the importance of boosting micro, small, and medium businesses in our area.”

“I urge other state and local government appointees to emulate Hon. Adabara’s footsteps. We need more leaders like Hon. Adabara, who fear God and are willing to come down to the grassroots to support the government’s efforts. I urge others to follow his lead and prioritize the welfare of the people.”

The Independent Campaign Council Chairman, represented by Engr. Zubair commended Hon. Adabara’s efforts. He stressed that every member of Alh. Adams’ household is a sample of exemplary leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the people. “What we are witnessing today is a testament to the commitment to our community’s well-being.”

Dr. Sanni Abdullahi Ozomata, Technical Adviser to the Governor on Multilateral and Donor-Funded Projects, congratulated the beneficiaries of the empowerment program. He echoed the Ohi of Okene’s sentiments, urging other appointees to emulate Hon. Adabara’s example. “The government needs more individuals like Hon. Adabara, who are willing to make a positive impact on people’s lives.”

The beneficiaries were visibly overwhelmed with joy and gratitude after receiving their cash grants. They expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Adabara and the Governor for their kindness and generosity, pledging to utilize the funds wisely and contribute to the economic growth and development of the community.
