Recent Trends on public opinion from Electorates in Kogi State have shown that Gov Wada is about to be rejected by the People. This is a fact.
The kind of criticism Gov Wada gets about workers Salary is alarming and cannot be compared to the persecution and rejection of Governors of Osun, Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa Etc.
Whenever Gov Wada commissions a building, it will be tagged as white Elephant project, He constructs a road, it will be said to have misplaced priorities. Wada gives out loans to farmers, you will hear that the beneficiaries are Party members, and it goes on and on.
The big Question then is, WHY ARE KOGITES NOT SEEING THE GOOD SIDES OF WADA? Has Wada truly disappointed Kogi Voters? Has he achieved over 50% of the expectation of the voting public? Is there a calculated Media campaign against Captain Wada? Is it ‘truly true’ that Gov Wada has not done a single project? What can Gov Wada do to gain acceptance by the voting public? Why do you see hate words, posts, comments etc against wada on social Media? Who is behind it? Has the Online Image building of Wada Foot soldiers worked?
The Questions can go on and on. One thing is sure, Wada needs a face saving media camping and a redirection to purge the hearts of Kogi voters off Disenchantment, Hate, Disappointments, Disillusionment, over rated expectation etc. But there is a clog in the wheel of Gov Wadas Progress.
There are some Pharaohs around him, some dream killers, sycophants, schemers, and character Assassins. Gov Wada needs to flush them out if he must be accepted by the people. I have seen and read how some Media volunteers have tried to portray the good works of Gov Wada via Facebook but the more the did, the more condemnation they got. You see a post about Gov Wada and with 561 comments : 559 against Wada and 2 for Wada. This is a dangerous trend. It happened to GEJ before the Election and I raised this point, but some politicians where quick to say that the comments are from Facebook voters who have no PVCs. The result of the presidential Election proved me right.
In Kogi Government house abound scheming, Intrigues, Blackmail, Rejection, sycophants, Malice, Permutations, Gossips, character Assassination, etc. The resultant effect is what you see outside, i.e A disconnect and disaffection between the Government and the Governed.
If you have ever had a one on one with Gov Wada, you will see in him a Gentle man with foresight, zeal and resolution to make Kogi A better place, the BUT are some few people around him who are bent on creating disaffection between him and the voting public. It is not late for a redefinition, a reorganisation and a redirection.
