Gov Ibro’s Landmark and Populist Projects Are Not Well Publicised – Akanmode

The former deputy chief of staff in the presidency under president olusegun Obasanjo , Chief Olusola Akanmode, criticized media aides to Governor Ibrahim Idris for doing a shoddy media job.
“Despite the landmark and populist projects that the administration of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has undertaken in the last eight and half years much was not heard by the outside world saying that it is imperative to blow the whistle of his achievement in this period of politicking”, he said.
The Director General lamented at the near absence of dissemination of the government projects and programmes to the outside world saying that what Alhaji Idris has done for the state surpassed most of his contemporaries in other states that are being celebrated today.
“ look he has done a lot of roads in the west that I came from so also in the central and the east but the people are not informed which has given room for the apathy that people may have for the government.’ He stated.
According to him Alhaji Ibrahim Idris is the most under reported governor in the country despites his achievement in the upliftment of the standard of living of the people stressing that those who were saddled with his information management should double their efforts at promoting image and achievement of the administration in this era of politicking.
Speaking further he said the PDP having ruled for eight years coupled with the spate of  work  that  Alhaji Idris done for the state  the candidate of the party is in for a smooth ride to the government house come December 3 election.
He noted that the only opposition the party is having is the enemy within while calling on all the aggrieved to bury their differences and work for the success of the party.
