The New Direction government of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello was inaugurated on 27th January, 2019 and since then, the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District have witnessed uncommon transformation in infrastructural reawakening which many describe as first of its kind.
ROAD PROJECTS.
At a blow, the governor flagged off the construction of almost all road networks in the Central flank of the Confluence State which hitherto were not motorable.
Three years down the line, Kogi Central Media Crew took a tour of all the road projects across Kogi Central and amazingly, this young, digital, energetic and focused Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s achievements in road construction is a legacy to be celebrated.
Below is the breakdown of the road projects constructed by Governor Bello led New Direction Government:
1. Okengwe – Adavi – Ihima – Road with drainages; initiated and 90% Completed.
2. Arigo – Odenku Road; initiated and Completed.
3. Agassa – Upogoro – to Auchi Road with drainages; initiated and 85% Completed.
4. Agassa Roundabout; massive and unique project initiated and still under construction, first of it kind in Kogi Central.
5. Total – GRA – Ohinoyi Palace and General Hospital road; initiated and completed with Solar powered Street Lights.
6. Inoziomi – Kuroko – Eika Ohizenyi Road down to Iktape Junction; initiated and 90% Completed.
7. Ebogogo – Osisi – Ogaminana Road with Drainages; initiated and still under Construction.
8. Nagazi Eba – Nagazi Uvete abandoned road project by past Administration; Contractors remobilized and project completed.
