Gov. Bello Reappoints Abdulkareem Onyekehi as SIP Focal Person

Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi has approved the reappointment of Prince Abdulkareem Onyekehi Suleiman as the State Focal Person of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP).

A statement signed by Onyekehi and made available to newsmen on Friday in Lokoja, said the the governor through the Office of Secretary to the State Government (SSG), had directed him to resume office with immediate effect.

Onyekehi thanked the governor for his reappointment and promised never to let the governor and the good people of Kogi State down.

”I wish to express my profound gratitude to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for my reinstatement as Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Projects and State Focal Person, National Social Investment Programme.

“My Governor and my Boss of inestimable value, you’re a highly compassionate leader with the act of nurturing future leaders.

“I sincerely appreciate Your Excellency for the confidence you repose in me. I promise to uphold the trust and deliver my best in the interest of a progressive Kogi State.

”I pledge my commitment to serving the good people of Kogi State in my best capacity to make a significant and lasting difference in my primary responsibility and the Social Investment Office,” Onyekehi said.

Onyekehi also thanked, the SIP office staff, all his supporters and well wishers, for their cooperation and support.

Social Investment Office is one of the most sensitive initiatives by President Muhammadu Buhari APC-led administration in partnership with State Governments to alleviate poverty through its components such as: N-Power for unemployed graduates and non-graduates schemes, Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP)-Marketmoni, Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) and Home Grown School Feeding Programme (HGSFP).
