Earlier, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs Oluwadolapo Omolara Ahile,  described the Orientation Programme as “a launching pad for the one year National Service.”
She added that the orientation course would also inculcate discipline in corps members and make them imbibe good work ethics in preparation for their primary assignment.
Ahile thanked the governor for the progress of the construction and renovation works going on in the camp, while urging the contractors to speed up the completion of the projects.
In his speech, the Commissioner who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youths and Sports, Mr. Alonge Daniel, sensitised the corps members on the importance of language tips prepared as lectures during the camping exercise.
