Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has congratulated the renowned medical practitioner, pharmaceutical manufacturer and successful farmer, Dr Abdulazeez Umar Farooq as he attains the age of 81 on Saturday, 24 August 2019.
In a statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, Bello described the Royal College of Surgeon’s trained medical expert as a man who lives his life for humanity and service of God.
“I wish to congratulate Dr Abdulazeez on the occasion of his 81st birthday celebration on behalf of myself and family. We thank God for what we have learnt from Dr Abdulazeez over the years. We have learnt a lot from His sense of responsibility, firmness, astute leadership style and good management of human and material resources. His obvious love for God which has been expressed in his good habit cultivated over time remains a source of inspiration to all of us”
The governor extolled the virtue of Dr Abdulazeez Umar Farooq as a humble, peace-loving statesman with a legendary commitment to excellence, earnest desire to do right in all things, a feat that qualified him for leadership at different stages of life.
Governor Bello further expressed gratitude to God for blessing the nation with an individual of Dr Umar’s capabilities and the grace for him to use his gift for the benefit of mankind and prayed God to give him long life, good health and wisdom to continue to positively impact the society.
“It is my earnest prayer for Almighty Allah continue to grant the celebrant the wherewithal, including good health, wisdom and strength for the benefit of mankind,” Gov Bello concluded.
