Who is the liar in Kogi State? Is it the workers or Governor Bello and his subordinates? Too many uncertainty surrounding the payment of salaries to both workers and pensioners. Are we been scammed by the government? Or maybe the workers and pensioners chose to be savages.
After series of screaming in the state, which lead many out of their offices to their various homes. The expectations of the luckily screened workers was a steady paycheck. They thought their rewards for all the stress they went through, travelling from one point to another, risking their lives on badly constructed roads within the state, which lead many to their early graves. Many became fatherless/motherless. Not to mention those who became orphans due to their single parent status.
But that’s not the point here. Am not concentrating on analyzing the pains and agony, of these workers. But to seek for where the problem is. The Governor and his aids are insisting on not owning any of their workers salaries. But it’s always a different story, talking to any of these workers. Who is saying the truth and who isn’t? If the governor is saying the truth, let him speak with evidence of payment. Just as the workers are currently proving their Innocence by been on strike. We the concerned minds of Kogi State are watching. We have been kept in the dark for so long. The people deserves fare governance and good treatment from the government.
The workers should be a priority to any sensible administration. They are tax payers and handling them their paychecks shouldn’t be a problem. Please we need clarity on this matter. Who is lying to us. We deserve to know the truth. I intend to keep this short and simple, because I wouldn’t want the governor seeking for more advisers for him to understand this.
