Sweat is a clear, watery liquid produced by the sweat glands in the skin. Sweat plays an important role in maintaining bodily functions. For instance, sweat helps to cool the body, remove waste products like urea and lactic acid from the body.

Not sweating can cause heatstroke as without sweat, our body can’t cool itself this can lead to a rapid rise in body temperature. Other complications include dehydration, skin problems, infections among others.

Sweat is proof that the body is in good condition to an extent. While sweating is a good thing, it is a nightmare to some because of the body odour some people experience. This odour is often times as a result of poor personal hygiene, diet, hormonal changes, certain medical conditions, etc. The good thing is that, there’s a solution to this problem.

The solution is for you to go the ‘Natural Way’. Natural ingredients like, lemon juice, baking soda, tea tree oil and apple cider vinegar are items that can help reduce the bacteria that causes odor in the armpit when used appropriately. Also, doing the following will reduce the risk of body odour;

  • Shower regularly while using antibacterial soap to help reduce bacteria growth on the skin.
  • Dry yourself thoroughly after each bath to prevent
    moisture buildup.
  • Apply deodorant or antiperspirant to dry
    and not wet skin.
  • Stay hydrated always and wear loose, breathable clothing.

If you experience excessive sweating, do consult a doctor.
