The Ojogba of Ife, Chief Boniface Musa has warned politicians to desist from making empty promises to the electorate when seeking to be voted into office.
The monarch made this declaration when a House of Representatives aspirant for Ankpa Federal constituency, Mr. Daniel Yusuf paid him a visit in his palace on Saturday.
Chief Musa stated that the electorates are tired of unfulfilled promises by elected and appointed political office holders.
In his brief remarks, the Reps aspirant stated that his desire to serve his people formed the core of ideals to contest the 2019 election.
He promised to attract more development to the area in terms of social infrastructural development, job creation, skill acquisition and empowerment program to the betterment of his people.
