The Pro – Chancellor and Chairman Board of Governing Council, Federal University of Education, Pankshin, and founder, Ogidi- Omo Movement, Hon. Funsho Ekundayo Olumoko FNIMN, has extended a heartfelt felicitation to christians across the world for the Easter celebration.
In a statement signed and released through his media aide, Martins Mejabi, the Pro – Chancellor express a profound joy in the symbolism of Easter celebration as a period of spiritual rebirth, especially as exemplify by Christ himself for love and sacrifice in which the latter-day christians draw inspiration.
Olumoko maintained that “Easter celebration has been a longstanding spiritual culture for Christians across the globe and its significantly reminds us of the sacrifice of our Lord for the redemption of mankind from eternal death and the refreshment of victory and triumphant of Jesus Christ over death on the cross of Calvary.
According to him, celebration of the resurrection of Christ is symbolic with peace, unity and love. So he enjoined christians to embibe the significant spirit of rebirth purposeful for the sacrifice and lifting of mankind and for nation-building, Olumoko reiterated.
While extending his warmth Easter felicitations, the Pro – Chancellor and founder of Ogidi-Omo Movement Worldwide emphasized the importance of this retreat as a period christians set aside to seek the face of the Lord and inquire in his temple. Not only that but to also for the intersection for the atonement of our sins in every level. He urges Nigerians to make effective use of the teachings, leading and the sacrifice of Christ -Jesus to redeem us of earthly chores.
He however prayed for renewed hope, and economic recovery for the nation, Nigeria. He also reaffirmed his continued attention to the vision of building human capacity. And prayed the season is rekindle with faith, love of God and humanity.
