The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmen of the ten wards in Mopamuro local government area of Kogi state has pledged to work for the victory of House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Henry Abimbola and the party’s House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Ademola Bello in the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking with journalists in Isanlu on Sunday, the chairman of the Forum, Mr. Obasun Samuel explained that the duo’s achievements in the past has endeared them to the electorate.
According to Obasun, Abimbola and Bello’s achievements in the area of widow empowerment, scholarship, youth empowerment, provision of agricultural equipment for the farmers, payment hospital bills, provision of computers to some schools, free medical care initiatives, provision of motorized boreholes among several others is enough guarantee that they will represent the people well and bring good and quality dividends of democracy to Mopamuro, Yagba and Kogi state.
The chairman of chairmen welcomed political bigwigs who recently defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling APC. He noted that Hon. Makinde Oyebode and his group are back to their house and shows the people of Mopamuro are ready for the next level.
