Burial event for the former provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, Dr John Alashi Fatele, who died recently in Lokoja at the age of 75, have been slated for March 7, 2015.
According to the burial programme announced by the Fatele family of Ilafin-Isanlu, Yagba East LGA of Kogi State, Wake Keeping/Service of Songs has been scheduled to take place on Friday March 6, 2015 at his residence at Fatele’s Compound, beside RCCG Ambassador’s Parish, Old Poly Quarters, Ganaja Road, Lokoja, Kogi State by 4pm prompt. Funeral Service will hold at 10am on March 7, 2015 at ECWA Church, Ilafin-Isanlu, Yagba East, Kogi State, followed by internment at his residence. Reception holds immediately after at YELGEA Primary School’s Open Field, Ilafin-Isanlu.
Dr John Alashi Fatele passed on in the early hours of December 29, 2014 after a brief illness.

Prior his appointment as Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, Dr Fatele had served as deputy provost, Kwara State College of Education, Oro, Kwara State.
Until his call to glory, Dr Fatele lectures at the Department of Geography and Urban Development at Kogi State University (KSU), Anyigba.
