Foremost Industrialist, Chief Stephen Ajulo’s Burial Holds February 12

Foremost accountant, industrialist and spiritual leader, Chief Stephen Kolawole Ajulo, who completed  his life cycle on December 29, 2020, will be buried in his native community, Ayetoro- Gbede in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state, on February 12, 2021.

Preceding the interment are other rites of passage, which began on February 8, 2021, in Kaduna. This will be followed by the wake at 4pm, at his residence in Ayetoro-Gbede on Thursday, February 11 and Church service and interment at 10am, at St Peter’s Anglican Church, adjacent to his house, on Friday, February 12, 2021.

The late Ajulo had a chequered career in Kaduna where served as the accountant until he was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Turners Building Products (West Africa) Ltd, Kaduna.

With passion for knowledge and investment transfer, he collaborated with other investors to establish the Wellcrete Building Products Company in Ayetoro-Gbede in the early 1990s.

In recognition of his commitment and contributions to St Peter’s Anglican Church, Ayetoro Gbede, he was installed as the ‘Baba Ijo’ (Grand Male Leader) of the Church.

His remains will be interred within the premises of the church as a mark of acknowledgement and honour.

Chief Ajulo, who lived a simple, unassuming and self-effacing life will be remembered for his generosity, human development and an exquisite taste for building construction and finishes. 

He is survived by wife, children and grand children.

The burial planning committee, under the chairmanship of Barr Paul Ajetunmobi, has announced that the various programmes on the burial will be conducted with due cognizance of Covid-19 protocols.
