Eagle Reporters authoritatively gathered that the former Council Boss, Honourable Hassan Yusuf had been issued letter of invitation following the petition to the commission by individuals and groups in Okehi on how he administered the council.
Impeccable source at ICPC who did not want his name mentioned in this news report because he was not authorized to speak for the commission confirmed this issue to our Reporter today.
The Source told this media that the groups from Okehi had frowned at how Hon. Hassan Yusuf runs the affairs of the council. The groups petitioned the commission to beam its searchlight on the former Council Boss, Hon. Hassan Yusuf on what he made do with the Three hundred Million naira (N300millions) Bank loan his administration sought from Development bank in Abuja before they were removed from office by Kogi high court last week.
Explaining, he said the administration of Hon. Hassan Yusuf had obtained the bank loan for the reconstruction of Ihima Central Market (Oboroke) with the hope of making it international standard. Sequel to this, the commission had also asked all the former councilors in his cabinet to appear before the commission too.
“Two former Councilors in the cabinet of ousted Okehi council Boss, Hon Fodio and Honourable Sadiq last two weeks appeared before the commission over this issue where they gave their own side of stories on what they know about the loan sought by the chairman, the source said.”

Interrogation into the financial affairs of Okehi Local Government under the administration of Hon. Hassan Yusuf by the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission is still ongoing at the time of filling this report.
