Federal Lawmaker React to Calls for Collaboration for Development of Ajaokuta LGA

In a bid to enhance the progress and development of Ajaokuta Local Government Area (LGA), the newly appointed Permanent Secretary, Momoh Omuya Opiya, has emphasized the need for collaboration among stakeholders.

This call for cooperation was made during a meeting between Hon Momoh Omuya Opiya and the member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, to discuss recent developments following his appointment by the Kogi state government.

Hon Momoh Omuya Opiya lauded the Federal lawmaker as a distinguished figure in the civil service, noting the lawmaker’s ascent to the exalted position of Permanent Secretary before transitioning into politics to serve the residents of Ajaokuta LGA.

Seeking advice and guidance, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary pledged his unflinching loyalty to the apex leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ajaokuta LGA, Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, and advocated for synergy that would benefit both the party and the people of Ajaokuta.

In his remarks, Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem congratulated Momoh Omuya Opiya on his appointment and assured him of complete acceptance and various forms of support to equip him for his new role.

Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem (SEA) who stressed the significance of collaboration noted that Ajaokuta is the only place to call home and expressed readiness to engage in partnerships that would contribute to its growth and development.

He underscored the commitment of the incumbent administration led by Governor Usman Ododo to prioritize development as a cornerstone of governance.

SEA emphasized the necessity for cooperation at all levels to motivate the Governor to facilitate further advancements in the region.
