Former Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Abdulaziz Abdulwahab Obini is dead.
Alhaji Obini died in the early hours of today at the National Hospital, Abuja, after a brief illness.
He was, at one time, Commissioner for Water Resources and later, Commissioner for Finance, under the administration of former governor Abubakar Audu.
Obini, an astute politician, was the state chairman of the defunct National Republican Congress (NRC) in Kogi State between 1991 and 1993.
May Allah grant him Aljannah. Amin!
