The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management, Mrs Lawal Lamy on Thursday, received Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto OON, State Project Coordinator ACReSAL during a familiarization visit in her office.
During the visit, the Project Coordinator congratulated Mrs. Lawal on her appointment as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry and Chairman State Technical Committee Kogi ACReSAL.
She initiated discussions on key areas of collaboration between ACReSAL and the Ministry and formally introduced the Permanent Secretary to her roles and responsibilities as Chairman, State Technical Committee of Kogi ACRESAL.
Barr. Ladi made a comprehensive presentations of the Project Implementation Manual and the Pictorial diagram of the Catchment Management Plan of Kogi ACRESAL.
In her response, the Permanent Secretary expressed appreciation for the visit and presentations, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to fostering collaboration to enhance environmental sustainability in the state.
She emphasized the need for effective implementation of environmental projects and policies, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in protecting the state’s natural resources.
The visit was attended by Directors from the ministry.
