Environment Commissioner Pledges to Address Ecological Challenges Across Kogi

Newly appointed Commissioner of Environment and Ecological Development in Kogi state, Engineer Joseph Oluwasegun, has promised to tackle ecological problems beveling the State.

Speaking with newsmen after resuming work in the Ministry of Environment in Lokoja on Monday, Engr Joseph the Governor Usman Ododo-led administration in the state is committed to a clean and serene environment.

The Commissioner stated that though he is not new to the Ministry, he is ready to collaborate with relevant agencies to address ecological problems in the state.

He assured that he will justify the confidence reposed in him and expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity given to him to serve.

He solicited the cooperation of management and staff of the ministry.

He also thanked former Governor Yahaya Bello and incumbent Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the trust reposed in him, promising to build on the legacies of his predecessor.
