Enjema Crisis: Kogi Deputy Speaker Sues For Peace

The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, and member representing Ankpa I constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has condemned the recent violence in Enjema community which claimed lives and destruction of properties.

The legislator who expressed disappointment at the rate at which youths take laws into their hands to destroy properties, kill innocent people over issues that can be resolved amicably, said we must as a people not take laws into our hands when there are disagreements.

He called on the youths to remain peaceful, while urging stakeholders, traditional rulers and security agencies to as a matter of urgency come up with measures that would bring peace and the perpetrators to book.

He equally applauded the state government’s effort in ensuring that the security of lives and property of Kogites is its topmost priority.
