Enitan Oshodi Rescues Kogi’s Participation in NTTF U16 Table Tennis Championship

Wahid Enitan-Oshodi, president of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) was at the rescue of Kogi for participation in the ongoing NTTF U16 Table Tennis Championship slated to hold in Lagos.
The age-grade table tennis event which began from 29th of March is expected to end on 7th of April but matches of Kogi have been suspended pending the arrival of the state’s contingents on Friday.
Kogi U16 team who were listed to battle for honours in the ten-day event but faced expulsion due to failure to access fund from the state government, hence the intervention of the NTTF boss.
Source informed that the NTTF boss offered to foot the transportation bills of Kogi contingents after the neglect from the state government.
Despite having their transportation sorted, mean of sourcing funds to cater for accommodation and feeding remain in doubt for the Lagos’ bound state delegation.
However, a top source in the state’s sports ministry admitted facing challenges in sourcing funds to enable the team participate in the championship.
The source further divulged that the ministry officials are still do everything help the team record success at the event.
What lies ahead of the team in Lagos remains unpredictable but requires the decisive intervention of the state governor Yahaya Bello.
