First, I want to thank those men and women behind the establishment of various online communities , the values created by this singular act remains indelible in the minds of many, you are giving meaning to life and making people feel loved, it reduces the silence pain I go through sometimes, never did I know Mr Kekere Daniels loves me but through this medium I realized I was wrong in my believe. lol.
I was particularly paying keen interest to the adjectives used by each and everyone of you to describe me , I needed to know my person from your feedback and you did justice, I was mostly surprised that Mr ogu ogu spared me of constructively criticism thank you sir.
I want to say thank you all , I want to suggest we find a way to improve on this because there are so many of us going through various pains during their birthdays and needed our word of encouragement and lifting of spirits, I will be available to render any meaningful contribution to put a smile on someone’s face just as you did to me today.
Before I go further, I have two things you need to ponder.
First, as it stands today, there is an increase in the already unacceptable numbers of poor and vulnerable, particularly women and children who suffer and die of hunger, malnutrition and preventable or curable diseases, a rise in unemployment, the reduction in access to education and health services and the inadequate of social protection in our country.
This issues are occasioned by corruption, ineffective or unintelligent and obsolete policies , inadequate or lack of corrective policies, inflation caused by depreciation in our currency, high import cost, over population caused by open national borders.
We need to tackle this menace through intelligent policies and implementation.
Second, as a consequence of social , economic, cultural, informational, scientific and political shift there is need for new approach and a paradigm shift in our educational system.
You must know that education is self empowerment, receiving good education helps you look after yourself. It keeps you aware of your given surroundings as well as the rules and regulations of the society you live in.
It’s only through knowledge you can be able to question authorities for its negligence or discrepancies.
We must tackle this as well as our educational system is grounded.
So as this is another election year I challenge you to demand for quality representation through election of credible, educated, experienced and skillful representatives that can deliver the dividend of democracy through intelligent policies that accommodate all and not the usual mediocrity.
On my own I consider fighting for educational methodologies that are based on information and communication technologies that can contribute by their valence to the improvement of the educational environment.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Engr Malik Abdullahi Okino
