Hon. Enejoh Sani has commended the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for initiating a reconciliation process aimed at strengthening unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 presidential, senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly elections.
Sani described the move as a timely and strategic intervention capable of bringing together party leaders, stakeholders and members across the state, stressing that unity remains essential to the party’s success at the polls.
The reconciliation initiative, chaired by former Kogi State Governor, Capt. Idris Ichalla Wada, is expected to provide a platform for resolving differences, rebuilding trust and fostering greater cooperation among members of the party.
According to Sani, Governor Ododo has demonstrated political maturity and leadership by prioritising reconciliation and unity within the APC, rather than allowing internal disagreements to weaken the party.
He noted that a united APC would be better positioned to mobilise its supporters, consolidate its achievements and deliver victory for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Sani further expressed confidence that the reconciliation efforts would yield positive results, assuring that APC members across Kogi State are ready to put their differences aside and work collectively for the success of the party.
He called on party leaders and members to embrace the reconciliation process in good faith, urging them to place the overall interest of the APC and the development of Kogi State above personal differences.
“Governor Ododo has shown that he understands the importance of unity in achieving political success. The reconciliation process is a welcome development, and I believe it will strengthen our party and prepare us for the elections ahead,” Sani said.
He added that with genuine reconciliation, effective mobilisation and cooperation among stakeholders, the APC remains well positioned to deliver resounding victories for its candidates in Kogi State.
