#EndSARS is a protest taken too far beyond the comprehension of the naive protesters after two weeks of procession without government intervention.
The protests was indeed a success with historic achievements being the first time in the history of Nigeria a protest request were granted with alacrity by government.
President Muhammadu Buhari should be, in actual facts, commended for this as a honour for departure from the past.
An organized protest would have articulated demand for negotiations but in the case of ours the demands kept changing from police brutalities to #EndNigeria, #BuhariMustGo etc.
No sitting democratic government will fold its arms and be removed through a civilian coup.
The protesters allowed politicians to railroad them for their selfish reasons with the hope that they can give them (protesters) shelter and or shield them from government reaction when the chips are down. At last, what happens, they found themselves naked, abandoned by the selfish politicians and enemies of the nation.
However, nobody is happy that lives were lost, but the truth must be told.
